Fall Trends: My Picks

If you haven't already seen my previous post about 2011 Fall's trends check it out here first.

These boots from Top Shop are great because there fun but still can be worn with various things.  Also these are perfect if you were looking for an alternative to the glitter boot by Pedro Garcia which go for almost $400, were as the ones from Top Shop are less than $100 and are nearly identical!

My favorite part of Fall/Winter is always choosing a coat.  It is important to choose a winter coat that you can not live without, because this will be the one item you will be wearing everyday for several months.  I love that moment when you know you've found the perfect coat; you slip it on and feel like a million dollars you know its the one, and get that same feeling every time you put it on.

I chose these ear muffs because I love how luxurious fur can be, yet I only want a little taste and don't want it to be over the top.  I think just a hint of fur such as ear muffs or a attachable collar for this season is perfect with out having to spend all your savings on coat completely made from fur.

Black is a big part of my wardrobe, just as it is any New Yorkers.  I tried really hard not to pick anything black, but its not practical for me to wear a white Elie Tahari trench coat like I wanted to choose. Of course unless I'm wearing it from my pent house to limo to 5 star restaurant. But I'm not quiet their yet!

High slit skirts are super sexy for this season.  I love how something so long and conservative and be spiced up just by adding a high slit.  Making it go from a long boring skirt to a seductively peeking skirt is super clever!

I've always enjoyed Nicole Richie's House of Harlow line so I really wanted to include this really awesome cuff.  I am really into cuffs right now and I thought this one was interesting and was cohesive with the black & white trend.

Recently Purchased: Coralberry

I saw this photo recently online and fell in love with her lip stick and made it my mission to find one just like it. Revlon makes a super lustrous lipstick that is practically identical to this picture!  It is called coralberry and is great because it is not a matte so it wont make your lips dry.

IFB Conference 2011

Top- American Apparel, Blazer- LF, Bottoms- 5/48, Shoes- Jessica Simpson

The IFB Conference was amazing!  I got to meet some fab new bloggers as well as top bloggers like Sammy from Sammy Davis Vintage. I had my nails done with Nails Inc polish topped off with the gold crackle effect.  And got to do a little interview with Sammy about my secret indulgences for this fall.  I will be posing the video as soon as it is ready, so keep an eye out to find out my indulgences as well as other bloggers such as Tiff James Deen and many more!

IFB also gave out an awesome swag bag for all who attended.  Celebrity nail artist gave everyone mini manniqures using the Nails Inc polish as well as Minx.  If you haven't heard of Minx it is very similar to the Sally Hansen or OPI's stick on nail polish.  Minx is so far my favorite stick-ons that I have seen yet because you can actually go online and customize them yourself!  Also Magnum provided us with a delicious ice cream station and water Bobbles were given out.  Aldo had a roulette table set up for anyone who felt lucky about winning some sweet shoes.

There were so many lovely ladies at the Conference I cant wait for the next one in February!  See you there!

Recently Purchased: Red Bag

Just recently I decided that I wanted to get some type of accessory that was a really bright powerful color without having to go on a neon tangent.  Just a little something to add that "POP" to an outfit.  And I actually found this little chain bag in TJMAXX.  I really like the fact that I can remove the chain if I wanted to wear it as just a solid clutch.  And its not too big, but its not tiny either so I have just enough space to hold my essentials, and a little more.

Ill be wearing this for Fashions Night Out this evening. Keep a look out--Maybe you'll see me!
